About Youth Radio Network

The Youth Radio Network was created to become an Internet Radio platform for young people as a result of a radio project initiated by GMQex Youth. The basis of the project was to engage young people in media using the Internet as the main source in reaching a wider range of young people.

Now, YRN is being developed as the network to connect young people right across the globe. this network will allow groups of young people to interact with each other on the topics and issues that are relevant to them as well as others in the political and commercial sectors.

With YRN growing support system and the use of new media technology, the network has in its designed the means for young people to learn marketable skills.

YRN can also be seen to work as a communication space, where different groups can find a common way to discuss and explain issues which affects all young people regardless of their location. The network will encourage many forms of training, specifically in content creation as this will provide a means of interacting and getting to know young people in their localities. The development of this activity can not only provide a learning platform for the young people but the result of such action will provide many of the young people with an interactive distribution platform for their own creative content.
